Terms of Service — Stackfone

Stackfone turns your Solana Seeker phone into a "Genesis Node" on a decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) network. You earn STACK, an in-app points balance, for honest uptime, referrals, quests, network probes, and (opt-in) bandwidth-sharing.

3. STACK is not a cryptocurrency or security

STACK is an off-chain ledger number tracked on our servers. It is not a blockchain token, not a security, and carries no guaranteed cash value, redemption right, or future exchange listing. Claiming STACK moves it to a running balance on our servers — it does not currently trigger any on-chain transfer. This may change in the future, and if it does, this page will be updated first.

4. Eligibility

You need a compatible Solana wallet. Some features (verified Genesis Node status) require Seeker Genesis Token ownership, used as an anti-sybil check — one genesis-verified wallet gets one node.

5. Cards, battles, and staking

Card battles stake STACK between up to three participants; a winner is picked by a weighted-random process based on collected-card strength, not by us choosing a winner, and a small rake is retained. Because STACK has no established real-world monetary value today, this is not gambling with real money — but if that ever changes, these terms and the mechanic itself will be revisited.

6. Network probes

Probe results are self-reported by your device and only checked for plausibility server-side, not independently verified. Rewards are small and rate-limited by design — see the public trust report for the honest breakdown of what is and isn't independently provable in this app.

7. Acceptable use

No creating multiple nodes/wallets to abuse referrals, quests, or probe rewards.
No attempting to interfere with, spoof, or degrade other nodes.
No submitting probe results you didn't actually measure.

We may suspend a node's rewards if activity looks abusive, based on the fraud signals described in our own admin tooling.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". Several features (NFT minting, STACK payouts) currently run in mock mode without a real on-chain transfer — see the trust report for exactly what's live vs. mock at any given time. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Stackfone and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves (e.g. if STACK becomes a real on-chain token). Material changes will update the "Last updated" date.

This is a first draft written directly from the app's source code, not a template — but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Treat it as a starting point pending real legal review, especially before any real-money or mainnet-token mechanics go live.
